Iron Ore Mining
We have 106 hectare of mines in Chhattisgarh rich in iron ore. Our mining methods are thus driven by an environmental friendly yet active exploration, mining and development programme leading to efficient raw material mining for all the integrated manufacturing and production processes.
One of the few companies in India having iron ore palletisation plant. The process involves conversion of iron ore fines in to iron ore pellets.
Directly Reduced Iron
The high grade sponge iron produced is uniform and consistent in quality and the low phosphorous content makes it ideal for industrial usage.
The electrical furnace is used efficiently and heat is applied using induction heating of metal.
Ladle Refining System
Ladle Refining Furnaces ( LRF) are used to raise the temperature and adjust the chemical composition of molten metal. Ladle refining of liquid metal is a proven technology to produce high quality of steel.
Continuous Casting Mill
These are used to solidify molten metal into semi-finished product like billets, blooms or slabs for final rolling in the finishing mills.
The formed products are further processed via profile rolling and drawing.
The rolling mill creates finished products that are high on quality, tensile strength and bendability while having uniform thickness throughout. It is a fully automatic rolling mill with technology from TEMCORE Belgium.
The testing and evaluation of the finished product ensures that the rebars do not deform under tensile stress and do not yield their elasticity under pressure.
